What We Do: MCTA is a member-supported organization whose ranks include the manufacturers, distributors, and users of chemicals as well as affiliated professionals and organizations. We are the voice of Massachusetts industry with regulators and lawmakers on Beacon Hill and their advocate on issues that impact their ability to conduct business in the state.
Why We Do It: Massachusetts is a heavily regulated state with a dwindling manufacturing base. It is important for lawmakers and regulators to understand how their actions impact the industry and the people who earn their livelihood working in it. Those in the industry are committed to environmental stewardship and sustainability, but require certainty if they are to remain viable in Massachusetts.
