MCTA Mission
The mission of the Massachusetts Chemistry & Technology Alliance, Inc. (MCTA)
is to be a proactive and effective advocate and resource for its members. MCTA
members include industries that manufacture, distribute and use chemical technologies
in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as the providers of professional
and other services to those industries. On behalf of its members, MCTA will:
- Represent their interests to the state legislature, government agencies, and the public
- Propose legislative and regulatory initiatives that both preserve and enhance the natural environment and promote the economic environment to ensure sustainable development in the Commonwealth;
- Provide education and training programs that inform members about regulatory compliance in particular, and best business practices in general;
- Provide assistance and information to members to support their commitment
to responsible practices and programs, including Environmental Management
Systems and Pollution Prevention.
- Communicate the benefits of chemical technologies to interested constituencies through community outreach programs.
