
1. Regular MembersAny individual, partnership, corporation, division of a corporation or association which meets one of the membership categories set forth below (Article I, Sections 1 and 2 of MCTA's By-Laws):
2. Affiliate MembersThose entities manufacturing, producing, formulating, reformulating, blending, mixing, packaging, repackaging, processing, reacting or distributing chemicals, chemical products or pharmaceuticals in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts shall be eligible for Regular Membership.
3. Special MembersThose entities having no facilities or employees in the Commonwealth but which would otherwise fit the description of a Regular Member shall be eligible for Affiliate Membership.
4. Associate MembersA trade association or non-profit organization that represents Members with regards to other matters is eligible for Special Membership.
Those entities which provide consulting, engineering, legal, testing, technical or other services (including, without limitation, transportation, treatment, storage and disposal services with respect to chemicals, chemical products, pharmaceuticals and by-products that may be generated therefrom) to the entities that would qualify as Regular Members or Affiliate Members shall be eligible for Associate Membership.
5. Individual Member:
Individuals now or formerly employed by entities that would have qualified by reason of their activities as Regular Associate or Affiliate Member who are not currently employed (other than as a consultant) by another member.
Annual dues for all categories of Member will be set by the Board of Directors.
Membership Fees
Application ProcedureFunds for MCTA operations are largely derived from membership fees. Associate Members observe a distinct fee schedule, structured by the Board of Directors to encourage membership of firms that provide services to Regular, Affiliate and Special Members.
